Week 7 - Movie Review

TROY
This movie talked about big battle of Troy.


Character :
Achilles is a strong man , youngth and very smart, and he was a fighting man fearless , and everyone often call him is fighting deathless.
Patroclus is younger brother of Achilles .
Hector , who is a prince of Troy is one of good fighting of Troy.
Paris , who is a prince of Troy , is younger brother of Hector, but he is not as good as Hector.
Menelaus is a king of one country and he has a beautiful wife and young, her name is Helen , but she doesn't love him, she loved Paris when she met him in party at royal palace of Menelaus.
Setting :
When the party was happenning, Helen , Menelaus's wife met Paris and they saw and have loving, so they escape to go Troy where she would live with Paris. When Menelaus knew that, he was very angry and took fighting to go to Troy. Although, both of them know about consequence that, they still did that by their loving.
Plot :
When Hector and Paris came home, their father was suprise about that. He knew some difficults ahead and he was worried. Some days, soliders and Menelaus came near in Troy. And Achilles was there. He is fighting of Menelaus. The fight was happened very violent and fierce. Many people died and there has Patroclus is younger brother of Achilles. So Achilles was so sad and he want to take revenge on Patroclus. Hector killed Patroclus and Achilles want to fight with him. They promise they would fight some days. Finally, they fighted and hector die . Although, Hector died , but Menelaus didn't win Troy. Achilles and some soliders found some ways to go in Troy , and they were successful. at that time is midnight, so everybody in Troy weren't ready and they lose and everybody tried to escape by one secret way.
Issue :
The movie said about the fight in Troy with goal is wide open their country in Greece.

Now you know your fighting.
I couldn't know your brother fighting yesterday .

Week 6 - Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans

Hurricane ???? It was very terrible. Did you know about that ? New Orleans somethimes has some hurricanes every year, and it always cause dangerous to people. Hurricane has strong windy , downpour , so it could damage everything and made many people die. For ex, the towers could still be standing at 400 miles per hour winds it will detroy everything else of course . From that you could envision about hurricane. And then is video , you can watch and listen a person analyse and conclude about it.

evacuate : move from a dangerous place

floating : staying on the surface of water

dislocated : move from one's normal place or home

Week 4 - SWINE FLU - SERIOUS SITUATION

Swine flu is a kind of infectious disease of a pig. Swine flu started from Mexico and spread to some countries near it. Everyone can get this ill because it spread very fast, and it can transmit a disease from this person to other people by many ways. So it is very dangerous to us . We need carefully and protect yourself. Your protect is protect for other people.

It is a the same SARS people got it a few years ago. but we destroy complete it.
Everyone needs to calm down and doesn't worry about that too much . I think scientists and doctors will find vaccine preventive of epidemy . I hope someday it will be done and we won't see it in the world.

Week 3 - SAVE EARTH

I have never known what the earth day is, because I seldom care about it. I have a short video about earth day. You can see and understand it easy. How do people can make earth green - clean - wonderful. I think we should have made something to get our earth is wonderful.
Walk and touch peace every moment. Walk and touch happiness every moment. Each step brings a fresh brezee. Each step make flower bloom. Kiss the earth with your feet.
Let bring the earth your love and happiness. And the earth will be safe when you feel safe in ourselves. The April 22 Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.

Week 3 - My Favorite Music and Movie

Listening to music make us relax and reduce stressed out, so I often listen to

music online or in my laptop when I have free time and feel sad. I like listening to music when I do my homework. I like many songs but my favorite song is " Love to be loved by you - Marc Terenzi " Have you ever heard it before ???? It is a good song and famous because many people like it . I think some of people in our class like it. Now you can hear and sing it which is very interesting .

I like this song because it is very interesting. It talk about love and I think lyrics of this song is feeling of love or fall in love. You can listen and tell me your feeling about this song. Have fun.

Watching movies are very interesting and fun because it make us feel comfortable and learn more experiences and increase knowledge in the life. I like movies , and I often watch movies on TV every night so that it helps me improve my English skill. My favorite movies are action movies and comedy. My friends and I sometimes go to the movie in Seattle when we have free time. Did you know Terminator movie? I have watched them several times . oh yeah!! Another terminator? Can't wait to see it!!! I've watched all the terminators 1,2,3 and it was good !!! I am looking forward to the terminator 4 is coming in 2009. I like it , so I had played game about terminator which is very interesting and funny.

Week 2 - My introduction

Hi everybody. My name is Khanh. I come from Nha Trang city in Viet nam which is the sea city is very beautiful. I hope you will be relax and enjoy when you visit my city. I love the beach which is a beautiful place. I am very funny and friendly, and I am always generous and easygoing .I want to make friend with everyone.

I came in Seattle last year. Now I live with some Vietnamese in Renton near Seattle.
I choose Seattle to study because Seattle is a wonderful city. The weather is cool, and people in Seattle are friendly, and it has many green trees and fresh air, and it has some beautiful beaches, so I love Seattle.
My hobbies are traveling, listening to music, playing games, watching movie and eating food. I like to study English, for it is very interesting to me. I hope it can help me get a good job in the future.
